LA -208 is a 3-way,3-element compact full range loudspeaker intended to make up a line array comprising 2*8″cone drivers in a vented enclosure. The HF unit is a compression driver with 3″voice coil and 1.4″exit coupled to a compression transfer ribbon(CTR) device and the CTR is coupled to a horn which form part of the enclosure. Several LA-208 can make up a line array suitable for applications such as touring, arenas, stadiums and theaters. It may be used in conjunction with LA-215B or LA-218B to form a 4-way system. The enclosure is constructed from 3/4(18mm) birch plywood, screwed and glued together for maximum strength and rigidity, and includes a reticulated foam and steel mesh grille. It is finished in black semi-matt textured environmental friendly paint. A rear panel connector plate carries two Neutrik Speakon NL8MP for loop in and loop out connections to additional enclosures.
